Our founder Rod Matthews has been a practicing physical therapist for over 40 years. His passion has always been with the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine patient. He has worked in the private sector for over 30 years treating that very census.

He saw the transition from casting to the use of the walker boot. With the easy application of the walker boot came the issues caused by fit, lack of support, and shock absorption.

We designed the insole to address those problems. Product development has taken several years and has seen many prototypes. Patient Satisfaction Trials have been performed under the guidance of an Orthopedist fellowship trained in Foot and Ankle Surgery who, in his summary, stated: 

"I feel that there certainly is a place in the orthopedic market for an inflatable insole to benefit patient comfort but also afford support to the foot and ankle during the healing process".
